Learn technique & traditional rhythms on djembe & dunduns (bass drums) in this fun & exciting ensemble style class! All levels welcome. Because of the ensemble style format everyone from first time drummers to advanced players will be given a part and material that will be fun as well as challenging.

$15 for the class. Rental drums available for additional $5 as well as for sale as well.

About Tober:
Tober Schorr has been playing the djembe and dununs since 1999. He has been apprenticing with master drummers Abdoul Doumbia since 2003 and Fara Tolno since 2005. Tober traveled to West Africa to study drumming in 2008, and before that served in the Peace Corps in Mozambique 2000-2003. He has a degree in music from Metro State, where he studied jazz with Paul Romaine and Ron Miles. In addition to West African music, Tober performs as a drummer in local bands Los Cheesies, ONDA and The Boulder Big Band, among others.
