Community drum circles are an ancient form of empowerment, celebration and connection from cultures world wide. We believe that everyone has an internal rhythm (check your pulse!) that can heal & transform our lives as individuals & as a community. We facilitate a fun, inclusive and safe environment for self expression and to connect with others.
Not just for hippies anymore: people from many backgrounds are gathering to drum together for various reasons. Group drumming has been scientifically proven to produce both physical & emotional benefits for its participants! That’s why drum circles are being used by therapists, hospitals, churches and correctional facilities. Drum circles are a powerful team building exercise helping schools, corporations and sports teams promote creativity, teamwork, confidence, and bonding!
The Boulder Drum Circle proudly & enthusiastically serves its front range community! We have experienced the profound effects of group drumming. We are honored to share & co-create these rhythms with you!
BDC has worked with hospice, Arise Music Festival, The International Refugee Committee, The American Israeli Council, assisted living & nursing homes, The Medicine Horse Program as well as birthday parties & open community events.
